The weather may not be in full cooperation, but spring us here and so is the @mass.wildlife trout stocking program! Massachusetts does an incredible job stocking many bodies of water across the state with different species of trout 
If you’re new to the trout game, it can be overwhelming in a store when you look at a huge wall of lures. Type, size, color – what do you buy?!
When I pack a light bag for a quick send after work or sometimes even before, I carry 3 primary lures and usually one or the other is the ticket for the day.

I have all of these in multiple colors too. I also never count out the classes night crawler or trout worm & bobber! Typically on bank fishing days I have a line in the water with bait, and a line rigged with a life for casting.
